Delete your Callday account
This page explains how to delete your account for Callday: Cold Calling (iOS and Android), provided by Jan-Erik Bettermann, and what happens to your data when you do.
You can delete your account yourself at any time. It takes effect immediately and cannot be undone.
How to delete your account
In the app
- Open Callday and go to Settings.
- Tap Account.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
On the web
- Sign in at callday.io/account.
- Open Delete account.
- Type your email address to confirm, then choose Delete my account.
By email
If you can no longer sign in, write to hello@callday.io from the email address of your account and ask us to delete it. We complete these requests within 30 days and confirm by email.
Cancel your subscription first
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription, because subscriptions are billed by the store you bought them in. Cancel there before you delete:
- iPhone: Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions
- Android: Google Play → your profile → Payments & subscriptions
What gets deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes:
- your account and profile (name, email address, sign-in methods, onboarding answers)
- all lead lists, leads, call outcomes, notes, and appointments
- your email templates and settings
- the connections to Gmail, Outlook, and Zoom, including the encrypted access tokens we stored for them
- your subscription status and its link to your account
Data is removed from our active systems right away and at the latest within 30 days. Backups are overwritten with the next backup rotation.
What we keep
- Invoices and payment records for purchases made through our website: 10 years, as required by German tax and commercial law (§ 147 AO, § 257 HGB). Purchases made in the app are billed by Apple or Google, who keep their own records.
- Error reports that were already sent contain no lead data and are not linked to your name or email address. They expire automatically at the end of our error-tracking provider's retention period.
Deleting data without deleting your account
You can remove data and keep your account:
- Delete individual lead lists, leads, and notes directly in the app.
- Disconnect Gmail, Outlook, or Zoom under Settings in the app. This deletes the stored token, so Callday can no longer act on your behalf.
